SEMENTERIO (2009)

The work sprung from wordplay, replacing the first letter of "cemetery" for an S and adding an N, opening thus a poetic perspective on matter, life and death.
Sementery synthesizes both antipodes; the resting place for the dead, and ejaculation, the beginning of life.

The Latin inscription translates as "here they rest in peace", a phrase inscribed on the cemetery gates of Tomé in the VIII Region of Chile.
